Preliminary remark
These instructions are for Fiat Ducato up to approx. 2021 and Citroen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer up to approx. 2022. Please use these instructions for the newer model years (Ducato 8/9).
Before installing the Prickstop, you should consider whether you would like to replace the speakers at the same time. It is also advisable to cover the door with aluminum butyl. This improves the acoustics of the speakers and reduces sound transmission through the door. The effort is less if everything is done in one go.
You can find suitable retrofit loudspeakers from Gladen in our store. These speakers have an impedance of 3 ohms instead of the usual 4 ohms and therefore get significantly more power out of the standard radio. However, there is plenty of reserve upwards and they can also be supplemented later with an amplifier. The speakers are already pre-wired and you only have to plug them in. There is also a special version for vehicles with Remis front darkening.

Prick Stop installation on the driver's door
You will need the following tools to install the Prickstop:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Torx T30
- 10 mm socket with ratchet and extension
- Flat screwdriver or other levering tools
- Possibly a knife, adhesive tape and pliers
Removing the trim parts
Removing the loudspeaker
The loudspeaker grille is plugged in at three points from the front. Use a levering tool or flat screwdriver (be careful of scratches!) to lever it off and pull it off towards the front. The loudspeaker can remain fitted, remove the screws behind it.
Removing the power window switch
Use a flat pry tool or plastic spatula to lever out the console in the door trim. Start at the rear end and carefully lever upwards, using pieces of plastic as protection.
Removing the door handle covers
Lever out the plastic cover behind the door handle and remove the screws underneath. Undo another cover on the armrest and remove two screws. Open the side compartment and undo the Phillips screws.
Removing the armrest
Armrest is hanging on the door opener cable. Temporarily secure to remove the door trim.
Removing the door panel
Lever out the door trim all around, remove the clips. Cut the film crosswise and seal it again with adhesive tape after installation.
A) Installing the Prick Stop burglar protection inside
Secure nuts, place Prick Stop on threaded rods, tighten nuts. Seal the film and fit the cladding parts in reverse order.
B) Fitting the Prick Stop for external installation
Unscrew the nuts by approx. 3 mm. Slide the lower part of the protective plate under the door handle, seal with body adhesive if necessary. Fix the lower part, insert the upper part, align the plates and tighten the nuts.
Installing the Prick Stop on the rear door
Open the rear door panel, slide the Prick Stop between the existing sheet metal and the body or fit as for the driver's door.
Installing the rear door lock
Mark the position, remove the red screws, unscrew the other screw by approx. 3-4 mm.
Slide on the latch, check the fit and tighten. Repeat the process on the other side.
Insert split pin: top for open state, bottom for locked state.
