HEOSafe Keyed-Alike Security Set – Cab + 1 or 3 Body Locks | Older Version

This HEOSafe keyed-alike security set combines purely mechanical interior locking for the driver and passenger doors with additional body locks for the habitation door, rear garage and exterior storage hatches. All locks in the set are keyed alike – you open and close the cab and body locks with a single key.

Which version is right for you?

• Version A: Driver & passenger door + 1 body lock – ideal for coachbuilt motorhomes with a cab and habitation door.
• Version B: Driver & passenger door + 3 body locks – if you also want to secure the rear garage, typically with two hatches, and one additional exterior hatch.

Body locks – please check before purchase

The body locks are universal, but cannot be installed in every situation. Due to the wide variety of body manufacturers with different frames, seals, wall thicknesses and handle positions, it is not possible to predict whether the lock will fit without modification. Please check the installation situation beforehand using the detail photos. A flat mounting surface is required on the inside and outside as well as a load-bearing frame area so that the bolt can engage behind the frame. Door thickness can generally be 20–90 mm; spacer plates are included.

Cab locks

The set contains 2 HEOSafe auxiliary locks with lock cylinders for the driver and passenger doors as a mechanical interior locking system. It is independent of electrical power and remains effective even if the vehicle electrical system fails.

What does “keyed alike” mean?

All locks in the set have the same key code. You only need one key for the cab and body locks.

Which version is suitable for a coachbuilt motorhome?

Driver and passenger doors plus the habitation door (Version A) is the typical choice. If the vehicle also has a rear garage with two hatches, the version with three body locks is the appropriate choice.

Why do I need to check the body locks beforehand?

Because hatches and doors vary greatly between manufacturers. Please check the frame, seal and mounting surface using the detail photos before drilling.

Is the model year sufficient to select the cab version?

Not always, because the base vehicle and first registration date can differ considerably. The actual door trim is decisive – compare it with the reference images in the HEOSafe product guide.

Does the system work without electricity?

Yes. The set is purely mechanical and works independently of electrics, radio or the leisure battery.
