Mechanical interior lock for modern Ducato and Boxer/Jumper models

The HeoSafe additional lock for driver and passenger door with cylinder lock was specially developed for the newer model series:

• Fiat Ducato Series 8, from model year 2021
• Peugeot Boxer from 2025
• Citroën Jumper from 2025

Like the well-known previous version, this version also offers robust, mechanical additional security - independent of electronics, radio or central locking.

Why the version with lock?

We deliberately recommend the version with a lockable cylinder because it effectively prevents several real-life break-in scenarios:

• Protection even if the window is smashed:
  The door remains locked even if a perpetrator is able to reach into the vehicle.
• Protection in the event of an attack on the original locking cylinder:
  Even with methods such as drilling out or the use of so-called "bump keys", the HeoSafe locking system remains locked.
• Mechanical, current-independent:
  No risk from faulty electrics, radio interference or battery problems.

As burglars prefer to enter via the doors (fast, quiet, low risk of injury), a mechanical internal locking system is one of the most effective layers of protection available.

Ideal in combination with Prickstop protection plates

The two systems complement each other perfectly:

Prickstop protection plate:

• Prevents the central locking system from being triggered by piercing the door panel
• protects all doors in the same central locking circuit
  - on the Ducato/Boxer/Jumper, e.g. front doors, sliding door and rear doors

HeoSafe additional lock:

• prevents the doors from being opened from the inside - even if the window is smashed in
• also protects if the original cylinder has been tampered with
• Provides an additional layer of security in everyday life and especially at night

This covers all practical attack scenarios that frequently occur in modern campers.
