What is the 3GAS+ CO sensor used for?

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless and odorless gas that can be life-threatening even in low concentrations. It is produced by incomplete combustion in gas heaters, boilers or stoves, among other things.

The 3GAS+ CO sensor supplements the 3GAS+ system with dedicated CO monitoring and thus ensures a significantly higher level of safety in the motorhome or camper.

Which gases does the CO sensor detect?

Important: The K50003 CO sensor only detects carbon monoxide. To detect propane, butane or narcotic gases, the basic unit or the extra sensor K50002 are required.

Recommended installation position

The CO sensor is ideally installed in the upper area of the vehicle, as carbon monoxide is evenly distributed in the ambient air.
