HEOSafe Security Set for Camper Vans – Ducato / Boxer / Jumper New Generation

The HEOSafe camper van security set is a keyed-alike set for camper vans and panel vans. It combines the mechanical cab-door security system with two externally mounted VAN Security auxiliary locks for the sliding door and rear door. All locks are keyed alike – the cab, sliding door and rear door can all be operated with the same key.

Why this set makes sense

Camper vans have several access points. This set combines two levels of protection:

• Interior locking for driver and passenger doors: prevents the front doors from being opened from inside, even if a window is smashed.
• Externally mounted auxiliary locks for the sliding door and rear door: make it significantly harder to open the large access doors.

Components

1. HEOSafe cab-door security: two mechanical auxiliary locks mounted on the inside, each with a lockable cylinder, fully independent of the vehicle electrical system – effective even if the original locking mechanism has been defeated.
2. Two HEOSafe VAN Security auxiliary locks: externally mounted, identical units that can be used for the sliding door and rear door depending on the vehicle, key-operated with clearly defined open/closed positions, available in black or white.

The VAN Security auxiliary locks can be mounted on sliding doors, rear doors or barn doors depending on the vehicle and installation situation. Older Ducato/Boxer/Jumper vehicles with the previous door generation require a different cab-door lock. In transition periods, the HEOSafe product guide helps identify the correct version.

Installation notes

The cab auxiliary locks are installed inside the driver and passenger doors. The VAN Security locks are mounted externally on a body panel – on the sliding door, installation approximately 10 cm above the guide rail is recommended. Before final fastening, check that the sliding door passes the lock cleanly when fully open. The key must be removed before opening the sliding door.

Which vehicles is this set suitable for?

For Fiat Ducato Series 8 and Opel Movano from 2021, Toyota Proace Max from 2024, and Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper from 2025.

Is the set intended for camper vans or coachbuilt motorhomes?

Primarily for camper vans and panel vans where the sliding door and rear door are to be secured as well. Different combinations are more suitable for coachbuilt motorhomes with a separate habitation door.

Can I secure both the sliding door and rear door with it?

Yes. The two identical VAN Security auxiliary locks can be used for the sliding door and rear door, provided installation is possible on the vehicle.

Does the set protect against the Prick attack?

Not directly. It mechanically makes the doors more difficult to open. For the Prick attack, we additionally recommend an Anti-Prick protective plate.

Do I need to pay attention to anything when opening the sliding door?

Yes. The key must be removed from the externally mounted VAN Security lock so that the door cannot damage it.
